Let us know if you find music note reading difficult or unpleasant and would like to feel successful while playing with an orchestra for a long time!

Orchestra Teachers:

Let us know if you notice students struggling with their note reading during lessons and/or rehearsals. Also, if you're aware of students leaving the orchestral experience, even though they are enjoying it!

SPED Educators and Administrators: 

Let us know if you have students, who you know would benefit by participating in your school orchestra, but who shy away from doing so.  Students who have been diagnosed with visual processing learning disabilities can now successfully contribute to your school orchestra and reap the benefits that this participation provides! 

 

Let's work together to support students from becoming frustrated when required to read progressively challenging music notes!  As a result, you will begin to observe an increase in student self-esteem, an improvement in student academic skills and a decrease in your school's achievement gap!
