Our daughter started taking violin lessons virtually during the pandemic, when her confidence level was low. After a couple of lessons, it was noticed that she was struggling with her note reading. As soon as that determination was made, our daughter’s learning was immediately supported by the Ludwig Music Curriculum©. My daughter’s violin study has been supplemented by a specialized note reading method, called the Ludwig Music Curriculum©. Before learning how to read music using the LMC©, she was getting frustrated when she played her violin. She loves to play now and I’ve noticed her sometimes playing with a smile on her face.
I’ve also noticed that my daughter has developed her own routine of practicing and then immediately after, doing her homework. I’m hoping that she is on her way to building upon her independent study habits.
